Dauntless takes place in a fantasy setting where the world shattered by a disaster and the Behemoths creatures that prey on the survivors are unleashed. They then take on the role of Slayers to defeat the Behemoths. The game is played as a third-person action game while hunting; The player uses a combo system to attack the creature while watching its own health and stamina gauge.
